MERIDIAN — Independent watchmaking, sold in cold light

MERIDIAN

In person the business is great. The service, the place, all of it. Then somebody looks you up on their phone before they come, and the site makes you look cheaper than you are. We build the other side of that: The interface your business deserves. Here are thirteen examples where you can see the work in live action.

01 — What we build

Four ways this usually starts.

Almost every brief arrives as one of these four sentences. Find the one you have already said out loud this month — the answer under it is the thing we would actually build, and the example beside it is running, not a picture.

01Brand identity from $1,500

You're starting something, and day one has to look likeyear three.

New businesses don't get the benefit of the doubt. So the name, the logo, the site and the first print run all get made together, by one person, before anybody sees them. The week you open, it should look like you have been open a while.

  • The logo first: the mark, the type, the colors, the rules
  • The site that wears it, ready for the first message
  • Launch pieces — social, print, signage, the menu, the merch

OTRO — a Miami label that prints its own runs

02Websites from $3,000

You already have a website. It is costing you work.

It was built once, by somebody else, and it is now the oldest thing about the business. We rebuild it so it says what you would say yourself, and so the booking, the table or the message actually happens on it.

  • A design drawn for your brand, never a template repainted
  • The one thing the page is for, in front of everything else
  • Fast on a phone with two bars, because that is where it opens

MERIDIAN — independent watchmakers, with the shop built in

03Websites from $3,000

You're an artist,and the bookingshouldn't dependon a DM.

Rates, rider, mixes, dates and the one contact a promoter needs, on a link that opens on their phone in ten seconds. The press kit PDF still comes with it — it just lives inside the site now, so the copy people download is never last year's.

  • The numbers a booker opens the file for, set as numbers
  • Catalog, press kit and dates on one page, on one link
  • A booking form at the bottom that reaches your phone

KAYO — a DJ, with the press kit built into the page

04Web apps from $5,000

The tool the business runs onis a group chat and a spreadsheet.

Reservations, run sheets, client files, approvals — whatever three people are currently holding together by hand. When you can't buy it off the shelf, we build it. Right now that is a real estate platform for an agent in Pennsylvania: listings, saved homes, a client portal, in Spanish and English.

  • Roles, permissions, and an admin screen that makes sense
  • Drawn on a phone first, then given the desk it needs
  • Yours to own outright — not another monthly seat

VenueOS — the venue's book, built for the people running it

In the hand

Built for the placewhere businessactually happens.

Almost nobody meets a website at a desk. These are four of the builds above, on a phone in the place where the visit actually happens. Not photographs of screens — the builds themselves, running.

02 — Brand identityFrom $1,500

A demo brand, built end to end to show the system

One mark.Four surfaces.One identity.

OTRO began with a name and an attitude. We gave both a visual system that could live on cotton, paper, packaging and a screen. The mark, type, colors, rules and shop were built together, so every touchpoint feels like it came from the same hand.

The mark comes out of the press

OTRO pulls two colors a night by hand, so the mark is a registration target — the crosshair a printer lines the second pass up against — and it is never quite in register. A competitor can copy the drawing; copying this costs them a second pass by hand on every garment they print.

Ink

#16150f

Pass one. The mark, the type, the rules — everything structural.

Flo

#ff4d97

Pass two, and the loud one. Fills and highlights, never a letter.

Sun

#ffd84d

Pass two, when the press is already loaded yellow. Same rule.

Page

The ground. Warm uncoated stock, and it is never white.

Chest print

Two pulls, one garment. The target is the second thing on the press, and it lands where it lands.

A sand cardboard swing tag printed with the OTRO target, the wordmark and the run number

Swing tag

The run number is on the tag because the run number is the product. 07, of a hundred and twenty.

And then it opens

The shop is the same system, running: the same ground, the same two inks, the same target in the corner of every sheet. Nothing was translated for the web, because nothing had to be — the identity and the site were decided in the same week, by the same hand.

The lineup

Drag it.All of it is real.

Thirteen builds across ten industries. Every card is the real demo, recorded or caught mid-page — none of it is a drawing. Drag the wall and open whichever one is closest to your business.

03 — Capabilities

Everything on the menu.

One studio for all three. The site, the software behind it and the identity are drawn by the same hand, in the same weeks.

Design

The studio line. Priced per piece. Most of it goes out the same week, and plenty of it the same day.

04 — What we learned

Nine years in,a few thingsstopped beingup for discussion.

Nine years of work with a door and a date on it. Some of this will read as obvious. All of it cost something to find out, and all of it is still the answer when a project starts going sideways.

  1. 01

The deadline is part of the design

Christmas Eve, 2024, seven at night. Blue Martini's manager texted: they needed a flyer for Christmas Day, and Christmas Day was tomorrow. We got the laptop out of the car, sat off to the side of the family dinner, and sent it back in thirty minutes. That is the pace everything here is built at.

  2. 02

    One hand, start to finish

The person who answers your message draws the screens and writes the code. No account manager, no handoff to a team you have never met. You get one calendar instead of five, so the dates are agreed in writing before anything starts.

  3. 03

    Never a template repainted

Every build starts on an empty page. If your website could be recolored into your competitor's over a weekend, it was never really yours.

  4. 04

    You own it outright

Domain, code and accounts in your name, on your accounts, from day one. If we never spoke again, nothing would break and nothing would need our password.

  5. 05

Motion has to be doing a job

Something moves because it is telling you where you are, what changed, or what happens next. Otherwise it holds still. Animation with nothing to say is just a slower page, and we have made that mistake already.

  6. 06

The number first, then the work until it's right

You get a scope and a real range inside a day, before anyone has fallen in love with anything. And once it starts, it gets reworked until you are happy with it. That has never been a fixed number of revisions and it isn't going to start being one.

05 — The record

Nine years, and a date onevery single job.

The studio didn't start with websites. It started with flyers for nights that had to fill. Blue Martini has been on that list since 2024 — Brickell, Naples and Phoenix now, all three texting directly. During the 2026 World Cup it peaked at three flyers a day.

So, what are you building?

If you don't know what you want yet, we figure it out together. If you already have the idea, we take it as far as it goes. Either way you get a scope and a real number inside 24 hours. Write to us and Bran answers. There is no form that goes nowhere and no call to arrange another call.

Five questions, two minutes. A real range back inside a day.
